- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Enrolled as a Trainee in the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine Advanced Training Program; OR Eligible and willing to apply to be a Trainee in the Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine Advanced Training Program; OR An Overseas Trained Physician.
- A research proposal that can be completed within 12 months.
- Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
