- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- A registered trainee with College of Intensive Care Medicine.
- A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience and completion of basic training requirements for CICM including successful completion of Part I exam for CICM, ANZCA, RACP or ACEM
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in tertiary Intensive Care and 6 months of experience in clinical anaesthesia.
- Demonstrated ability to perform relevant intensive care related procedures (airway management skills, vascular access, invasive monitoring etc.)
- Demonstrated good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary team.
- Completion of EMST course or intention to undertake EMST course in next 12 months.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and research.
