About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused Administration Officer to join our team at Western Newcastle Community Health Centre. As the first point of contact at our busy front desk, you’ll provide vital admin support across a range of community health services.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Welcoming and checking in patients
- Notifying clinicians of patients arrival
- Handling phone enquiries
- Managing medical records and general admin tasks

Our centre delivers a wide range of adult focused community health services, both at home and in the clinic. You’ll be part of a supportive, professional team passionate about providing quality care to the local community.
Our team offers a supportive orientation and step-by-step training to help you get comfortable with our systems and processes from the start.

- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
