Administration Officer – Permanent Reliever offers the best of both worlds: two permanent positions available with part-time hours, rotating shift variety, and genuine work–life balance, all while playing a front-line role at the heart of patient care!

 

Remuneration: $35.84 - $36.96 Per Hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging

About the role:

As an Administration Officer – Permanent Reliever, you will provide vital operational support across Patient Services across the Emergency Department. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their workday.

Two permanent positions are available, each offering a minimum of 7 days per fortnight. Flexibility is essential, as the role supports service continuity by covering unplanned leave, which may occasionally require short-notice roster changes.

Your responsibilities will span clerking, switchboard operations, and high-quality customer service, including regular face-to-face engagement with patients, visitors and staff. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, professional and efficient experience - both in person and over the phone.

This position operates on a rotating shift-work roster, with availability required to work two weekends per month, in line with service demands.

This is a fast-paced and highly rewarding position where no two days are the same. You’ll be supported by a dedicated Patient Services Manager, Team Leader, and a close-knit Administration Team, all committed to helping you succeed with the right tools, guidance, and encouragement.
