What you'll be doing
The Administrative (AO) is a unit based role to support the work activities of nurses, midwives, and allied health staff, providing timely and accurate administrative/transactional/education support services for members of the health care team under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and Nurse Manager Nursing Workforce. The AO works closely with existing administrative staff at the unit level.

Selection Criteria:
- Proven ability to provide administrative support in the provision of a customer focussed service within a busy office environment
- Strong customer service skills demonstrating a focused and responsive approach to managing enquires.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of efficient records management systems and providing an efficient filing service in office environment
- Suitable communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment with proven capacity to meet deadlines
- Ability to undertake various administrative tasks and perform duties with attention to detail, confidentiality, discretion and flexibility
- Competent skills in computer use and relevant software programs e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to adapt to internal database software systems
