Who we are:
SWSLHD Drug Health Services provides comprehensive support for individuals, families, and carers affected by alcohol and drug use across South Western Sydney. Services include inpatient withdrawal at the Corella unit (Fairfield), the Opioid Treatment Program, outpatient clinics, and specialist teams such as the Aboriginal Drug & Alcohol Team and Youth Service.

Recognised as a finalist in the NSW Health Excellence in Allied Health Awards, the service is known for its compassionate, multidisciplinary care and innovative treatment approaches. With accessible locations in hospitals and community health centres, the team is committed to improving health outcomes and making a positive impact.

What you’ll be doing:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Officer to join our Drug Health Services team in a permanent part-time capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital area of healthcare, supporting the delivery of compassionate and high-quality services.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our department through effective administrative support. We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Criteria:

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Can you detail any specific challenges you faced while managing reception and general administration tasks in a high-demand, team-oriented environment, and how you overcame them?

  2. Could you describe your proficiency in utilising computer systems and processes accurately, while maintaining quality service outcomes both independently and within a team?

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases.
