About the Opportunity
As a Senior Digital Health Analyst within our Pharmacy Inventory and Stock Management Program in the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will support the delivery of SDPR through Pharmacy Applications interface design, testing and implementation. You will work at the intersection of clinical practice and technology, ensuring pharmacy workflows are accurately translated into digital solutions that are safe, efficient and fit-for-purpose.
This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in delivering the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) by shaping pharmacy inventory and medication management workflows through Pharmacy Applications and Epic integrations. You’ll contribute to a statewide transformation program, working with cutting-edge digital health platforms, influencing system design, and enabling clinicians to access real-time, integrated patient information that improves safety and care outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the design, configuration and implementation of digital health solutions, aligning clinical workflows with system functionality.
- Engage and influence stakeholders across clinical, technical and executive groups to drive design decisions and governance outcomes.
- Translate complex clinical and technical requirements into clear business requirements, workflows and system configurations.
- Support end-to-end testing activities including scenario development, defect management and resolution of system issues.
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies early, contributing to mitigation strategies and continuous improvement across the program.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings strong experience delivering digital health initiatives in complex clinical environments, with a deep understanding of Hospital Pharmacy workflows
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline (e.g. Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health or Health Information Management) or equivalent extensive experience in a public healthcare setting
- Is a confident communicator who can translate technical concepts into plain language for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrates capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitating workshops and influencing outcomes at governance forums.
- Is detail-oriented with hands-on experience in testing, defect management and documentation aligned to best practice methodologies.
- Thrive in fast-paced program environments, managing competing priorities while maintaining a focus on patient-centred outcomes.
You will succeed in this role if you:
- Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
- Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
- Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
- Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast moving space.
