About the role

  • Lead and manage our Sterile Processing Centre, ensuring safe, high-quality sterilisation services across campuses.

  • Oversee staffing, rostering, recruitment, training, and performance to build a strong, engaged team.

  • Drive compliance, quality standards, audits, and reporting in line with NSW Health requirements.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, patient-focused outcomes.

  • Championing a positive safety culture while improving processes and driving service excellence

 

About you

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced leader who brings:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation Services and strong knowledge of AS5369:2023 standards

  • Hands-on experience supervising teams to ensure safe, compliant processing of reusable medical instruments and equipment.

  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, support and develop staff.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet KPIs, manage reporting, and drive service improvements.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety, professional development and continuous improvement.
