Introduction to the position:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Payroll professional to lead the delivery of accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll services across our organisation in accordance with Australian legislation, Awards, enterprise agreements, and organisational policies. This is a key role responsible for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring strong governance, maintaining compliance, and supporting the delivery of a high-quality payroll service to employees and stakeholders.
This is a hands-on leadership role that provides guidance and support to the payroll team while championing continuous improvement, system optimisation, and best-practice payroll processes.
The role also offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of Payroll and Time & Attendance systems, helping to shape more efficient, innovative, and streamlined payroll services across the organisation.

Selection Criteria – Applicants must address the Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll processing and compliance, including knowledge of tax legislation, superannuation, enterprise agreements and remuneration frameworks
- Experience implementing and managing Rostering, T&A, payroll systems or software upgrades, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Working knowledge of ADP Payroll, Real time T&A systems with Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other similar payroll and T&A software.
