Liverpool Hospital is recruiting for a Provisional Fellow (Clinical Research) to complement and enhance the current Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine Department.

What you'll be doing
The candidate will have an opportunity:-
- To acquire transitional experience from an obstetrics & gynaecology specialist to a high risk maternal fetal medicine (HRMFM) specialist, consistent with CMFM RANZCOG training requirements.
- To participate and appreciate how to optimise Multi-Disciplinary Team clinical management in order to provide continuity of care and optimise outcomes.
- To promote HRMFM in the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff, research (clinical or bench-top).
- To participate in continuing medical education (CME) and quality assurance (QA) programs.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Satisfactory performance in a minimum of three years of RANZCOG ITP.
- Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise, along with demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in the clinical setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management and an interest and willingness to teach Junior Medical Staff and research.
- Experience with obstetric patients with medical disorders in a tertiary hospital outpatient department.
- Demonstrated commitment to Maternal Fetal Medicine.
