What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in Palliative Care, you will provide high-quality, evidence-informed nursing care that supports patients and their families through complex and sensitive stages of care. You will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care while working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team.
· Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care
· Deliver safe, timely and culturally appropriate nursing interventions
· Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care planning
· Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to team development

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Selection Criteria:
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
3. Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values
4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
5. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
6. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
7. Capacity to work seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
