Remuneration: $74,317.93 - $104,336.26 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Close Observation Unit, you will provide individualised, high-quality care to patients with complex and evolving needs, ensuring optimal health outcomes through collaboration and clinical excellence.
· Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care
· Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes promptly
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate care
· Support patient discharge planning and appropriate referrals
· Mentor and supervise Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Selection Criteria:
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated extensive and recent critical nursing skills and experience, demonstrated resuscitation experience desired. Currently working in Critical Care Nursing or minimum 6 months recent critical experience.
3. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
4. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team
5. Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
6. Capacity to work seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
7. Demonstrated effective communication skills- written and verbal
8. Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
