Remuneration: $74,317.93 - $104,336.26 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

You’ll be part of a dynamic Emergency Department team at Auburn District Hospital, delivering critical care to the community within a busy and rewarding acute care setting.
This role sits within Western Sydney Local Health District, one of NSW’s most diverse and fast-growing health networks, working in partnership with NSW Health to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care in line with clinical standards, policy frameworks, and best practice guidelines.
· Deliver safe, evidence-based, person-centred emergency nursing care
· Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients in acute settings
· Maintain compliance with AHPRA standards, NSW Health policies and legislation
· Contribute to a culture of learning, education and professional development
· Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and collaborate with senior clinicians

Essential Criteria:
· Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
Selection Criteria:
1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
2. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
3. Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
5. Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
6. Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Registered Nurse in applying these principles.
7. Demonstrated recent nursing experience in acute care or an emergency department.
