Remuneration: $37.48 - $52.62 Per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing

 

As a Registered Nurse in NICU, you will provide person-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes optimal neonatal health outcomes. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in partnership with families and the multidisciplinary team.

In this role you will be:

  • Delivering safe, high quality neonatal nursing care in line with NMBA standards.

  • Assessing, documenting and evaluating clinical care using patient records and care plans.

  • Supporting and mentoring fellow nurses and students in clinical practice.

  • Collaborating effectively with families and healthcare professionals.

  • Contributing to continuous quality improvement and professional development.

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

 

Selection Criteria:

 

  1. Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  2. Recent demonstrated experience in the Intensive Care setting or critical care nursing/other experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD.

  3. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients.

  4. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.

  5. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
