What you'll be doing
You’ll provide safe, effective and compassionate nursing care to patients attending the Immunological Suite for outpatient therapy. This specialised role involves administering treatments, coordinating care and advocating for diverse patient needs while maintaining the highest professional standards.
Administer outpatient treatments including antineoplastic drugs, blood products and associated medications
Deliver individualised, evidence‑based care in partnership with the multidisciplinary team
Advocate for patients and their carers, including those from Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities
Uphold professional, ethical practice aligned with NSW Health standards and legislation
Contribute to efficient resource management within a busy clinical environment

Essential Requirements
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency. (NSW Registered Nurse – Division 1)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated post graduate clinical experience in an acute facility
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a team environment
Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
Commitment to professional development and for staff to undertake specialist training in IV cannulation, CVAD access, chemotherapy administration and Apheresis training ( including after hours on-call Apheresis roster)
Understanding of quality improvement methodology and a commitment to evidence based practice
