What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in Medical Imaging you will play a key role in delivering safe, high quality care for inpatients and outpatients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures.
• Provide patient centred nursing care across medical imaging modalities
• Support patients before, during and after imaging and interventional procedures
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, radiographers and the wider health team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safety and quality standards
• Participate in education, clinical review and continuous improvement activities

Essential Criteria
Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal that build greater cooperation and confidence in care delivery.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and effective demonstration of interpersonal skills in initiating and leading junior members of the team.
Commitment to continuing professional development.
Demonstrated ability to organise, prioritise work and initiative to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to ensure patients, carers, and families are well informed, engaged and confident about their care and treatment, within the scope of a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions.
