What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you’ll deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate care to critically ill patients. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll play a vital role in improving outcomes and supporting families during complex care journeys.
Provide individualised, evidence-based nursing care
Respond effectively to changing patient conditions
Support and mentor junior staff and students
Communicate and advocate for patients and families
Manage and prioritise care delivery in a dynamic ICU environment

Essential Requirements:
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in critical care nursing in an acute care facility
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
