Remuneration: $37.71 - $41.34 per hour

What you'll be doing
You will deliver high quality, safe and efficient pharmacy services that support patient treatment and medication management. Working under the supervision of a Pharmacist or senior Technician, you will contribute to the smooth operation of dispensary, manufacturing and distribution services.
• Provide pharmacy reception, customer care and medication support
• Maintain stock accuracy and assist with drug distribution services
• Complete dispensary duties for inpatient, outpatient and discharge needs
• Participate in extemporaneous and sterile manufacturing activities
• Support quality control, training and weekend or public holiday coverage

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Completed a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course at Certificate Level IV or has qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with capability to relay information accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience with information technology and familiar with the use pharmacy software e.g. iPharmacy system - in order to carry out the duties in the position description.
Recent Australian hospital pharmacy experience where employed as a pharmacy technician including demonstrated skills in accuracy and attention to detail in dispensing pharmaceuticals under supervision.
Ability to understand and adhere to departmental policy and procedures and legislative requirements.
Demonstrated experience as working as part of a team to produce good results.
