What you'll be doing
Western Sydney Local Health District’s Research and Education Network seeks your organisational skills and passion an Education Event Support Officer to assist the Professional Development Unit in delivering quality education programs.
In this role you will be:
Providing administrative and event support for training programs.
Coordinating logistics, bookings, and communications.
Assisting with documentation, reporting, and evaluations.
Supporting facilitators and participants during events.
Contributing to continuous improvement of education delivery.

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated well developed written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to bring a creative approach to problem solving and conflict resolution.
Demonstrated exceptional organisational skills with an ability to effectively provide day to day operational support including the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, be flexible and show initiative, and remain proficient in periods of high demand and activity.
Demonstrated experience in supporting senior management and committees, in relation to collation of papers, agendas, minutes and action related matters.
Demonstrated experience in event planning and management with the ability to lead and manage education event workflow and movements, and work under limited direction and guidance.
Demonstrated experience, or the ability to obtain financial sponsors.
Demonstrated ability to support financial event management including procurement, invoicing and recouping monies.
Demonstrated excellent computer skills, and proficiency in the use of MS Office suite including Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint and HPE, together with the ability to learn new software quickly and effectively.
Valid NSW Drivers Licence for work associated with, and travel to, both on and off-site and overnight workshops.
