Achieve Something Great
This opportunity offers an experienced Registered Nurse the chance to play a meaningful role within the Disability and Rehabilitation team at Bankstown‑Lidcombe Hospital. You’ll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary environment where rehabilitation is at the heart of patient care, and where your clinical expertise, empathy, and commitment to quality outcomes will directly influence each patient’s recovery journey. The role provides access to ongoing professional development, opportunities to mentor junior staff, and the chance to contribute to service improvement initiatives that shape the future of rehabilitation care.

Are You the Right Fit?
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse with a strong interest in rehabilitation and a genuine desire to support patients in regaining independence. You’ll thrive in a collaborative team setting, demonstrate sound clinical judgement, and bring a proactive approach to patient‑centred care. Flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning will help you succeed in this role. If you’re looking to advance your nursing career in a team that values excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care, this position is an excellent fit

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Can you share your recent experience working as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting relevant to rehabilitation or disability care? How have provided safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care in that context?
3. Describe a scenario where you had to make a critical clinical decision under pressure. How did you assess the situation, implement a plan, and evaluate the outcomes to ensure the best care for the patient?
4. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential for patient outcomes. Can you share an experience where your active participation and communication within a healthcare team led to improved patient outcomes or resolved a complex patient care situation?
