Are You the Right Fit?

- Willingness to work a rotating roster and adapt within a busy theatre environment
- Experience a Peri-operative Nurse across specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, Hand Trauma, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced setting
- A collaborative, reliable, and professional approach to working within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient advocacy and delivering safe, high‑quality, patient‑centred care, with full Australian working rights
Selection Criteria

1.Do you have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)? Please attach a copy of your AHPRA registration in your application
2.Please elaborate on how your skills and experiences align with the role requirements, and highlight what you will bring to add value to the South Western Sydney Local Health District?
3.How do you communicate and collaborate with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure responsive care, and how have you demonstrated professionalism, conflict resolution skills, and active participation in safety, risk management and quality improvement?
4.Can you describe your recent experience as a Registered Nurse in the Peri-operative environment and explain how you deliver safe, compassionate, culturally responsive care while applying critical thinking to guide evidence‑based practice?
5.How do you approach communication within a multidisciplinary team? Can you provide an example of how your interpersonal skills contributed to resolving a clinical challenge or improving patient outcomes?
