Achieve Something Great
Step into the heart of Campbelltown’s Emergency Department, where every shift brings purpose, challenge and the chance to make a real impact. As a Registered Nurse in our ED, you’ll deliver high‑quality, compassionate care across a diverse range of clinical areas including resuscitation, short‑stay units, mental health, aged care and paediatrics. No two days look the same, and your expertise will be central to supporting patients and families at some of their most vulnerable moments.
You’ll perform timely, comprehensive assessments and initiate evidence‑based interventions, including nurse‑initiated protocols that keep care moving when seconds matter. Your ability to coordinate care and patient flow will help ensure safe, efficient journeys through the department.
From administering medications and treatments to providing clear, supportive education to patients and families, you’ll be a trusted clinical presence throughout the ED. You’ll also play a key role in seamless handovers, mentoring junior staff and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives that strengthen our service.
If you’re ready to bring your clinical confidence, adaptability and commitment to excellence into a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment, this opportunity offers the perfect place to grow and thrive.
Are You the Right Fit?
You’ll excel in this role if you bring strong clinical knowledge across emergency, acute and specialty areas including paediatrics, mental health and aged care and the confidence to apply it in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Your critical thinking, sound decision‑making and ability to prioritise effectively will help you navigate the complexities of ED care with clarity and purpose.
Compassion and empathy sit at the core of your practice, and you’re committed to delivering patient‑centred care that supports individuals and their families through challenging moments. You communicate openly, collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and contribute to a positive, team‑focused culture.
You’re proactive about your professional development and ready to step into leadership opportunities, whether that’s coordinating pods, navigating ESSU or contributing to broader departmental initiatives. If you’re driven, adaptable and eager to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to hear from you!
