Remuneration: $44.28 - $58.91 per hour + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging + Work from Home

In this role, you will perform complex clinical coding with a high level of accuracy and compliance. You’ll take part in training sessions and webinars to continually strengthen your coding knowledge. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior coders, helping them grow in their roles. Staying updated on coding standards and best practices will be an essential part of your contribution to the team.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Current extensive clinical coding experience using ICD-10-AM within a tertiary hospital setting.
- Extensive experience across a broad range of specialties with evidence of meeting KPIs for accuracy & throughput as set within SWSLHD Advanced coder coding competencies.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills with high level attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage time and resources to meet pre-determined targets and deadlines.
- Ability to analyse, abstract, interpret and report information in clinical coding forums.
- Enthusiastic attitude and demonstrated ability to work both independently, within a team and be flexible in a changing work environment.
Demonstrated skill in the use of computerized PAS and record control systems, 3M Codefinder software, PICQ and a sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
