As a Clinical Support Officer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of two busy units, providing essential administrative support and helping staff and patients navigate a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Nursing Unit Manager across two units
- Act as a key contact for staff, patients, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the units through effective coordination and organisation
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by delivering responsive and professional customer service
- Work in a varied and rewarding healthcare environment supporting the delivery of quality patient care

- Demonstrated administrative experience with strong computer and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and active listening skills with a customer-focused approach
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to meet changing operational requirements across two units
Selection Criteria

- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
- Describe your experience providing administrative support in a busy environment. How do you manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail?
- This role supports the Nursing Unit Manager across two units and requires regular interaction with staff, and multidisciplinary teams. Describe a time when you used your communication and customer service skills to resolve an issue or support a positive outcome.
