Employment Type: Temporary Part Time, 24 hours per week, Up to 12 months from start date . Temporary roles are available to visa holders, with contracts issued in accordance with visa conditions. Visa holders will be considered where no suitable Australian citizen or permanent resident is identified. 

Remuneration: $34.93 - $36.09 per hour+ 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented team member who enjoys working in a busy environment. Flexibility may be considered, this role requires an onsite presence. Therefore, WFH is not currently available due to the hybrid record environment

 

Are You the Right Fit? 
The ideal candidate demonstrates the following: 

  • Provide administrative and customer service support to internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and data using various electronic systems and reports.  
  • Support the Clinical Coding team by monitoring outstanding and priority coding activities.  
  • Manage day-to-day tasks with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality and timely completion.  
  • Work collaboratively to support the efficient operation of the Performance Reporting and Casemix Team. 
  • The period of coverage is up to 12 months. The applicant must be available to work every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  1. Experience with Hospital Patient Administration Systems and Microsoft computer applications.
  2. Proven skills in effectively communicating, interpersonal and customer service skills (written & verbal).
  3. Demonstrated understanding of information privacy and confidentiality requirements.
  4. Completed Medical Terminology Course or willing to undertake training in Medical Terminology.
