About the Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals. RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services. Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital Institute of Academic Surgery (IAS) Programs and Innovations Manager is primarily responsible for coordinating and leading IAS programs, innovations and events, strengthening and promoting the IAS brand, supporting operational and governance processes led by the IAS, developing and supporting philanthropic and marketing strategies and optimising delivery of the organisation’s goals and objectives.
This position is required to help deliver the core programs, research and education initiatives and innovative strategies of the IAS. The position must have experience in health administration and coordinating programs or projects.

Ideal Candidate
Has relevant under-graduate qualification and/or experience in project management, health administration, business, public relations or related discipline or equivalent.
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to complete a variety of competing tasks and prioritise workloads.
Excellent event management experience from concept through to execution with highly developed negotiation and delegations skills.
