A brand new and exciting Clinical Manager opportunity exists for an experienced mental clinician and manager to undertake this role to oversee and support the Comprehensive Assessment Service for Psychosis and At Risk (CASPAR) and Youth Mental Health initiative within SESLHD Mental Health Service - sound like you?
The position actively participates in the strategic development of the service, building the capacity of mental health services to engage young people early and provide a range of evidenced-based interventions that facilitate recovery.

Selection Criteria:
- For Allied Health, qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award. Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW or Occupational Therapist with current registration with AHPRA. Psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), and a minimum of 8 years’ experience post full registration. For Clinical Psychologists, full registration with the PsyBA, with endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology, and a minimum two-year full-time accredited Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology. Nurse Unit Manager, registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven clinical leadership and management experience and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in practice.
- Demonstrated advanced skill and experience in Youth Mental Health assessment and treatment, including individual and family interventions, with an understanding of the contemporary theory and direction of youth mental health, particularly early intervention.
- Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence based research within a person-centred framework.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic and clinical service planning including an understanding of organisational behaviour, change management and cultural change processes.
- Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, and the development of contemporary, specialty education programs.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Current NSW Driver’s license with a willingness to travel in accordance with the position.
