  1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Ophthalmologist, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
  2. Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists
  3. Experience in Paediatric Oculoplastic and Orbit Surgery
  4. Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the role delineation (or equivalent - Tertiary level Children's Hospital) of the service
  5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
  6. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  7. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
  8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
