what you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Associate Director Health Safety and Wellbeing, the Health and Safety Manager leads the strategy and operation of Health and Safety Services and initiatives across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN)
This role leads and influences safety values, skills, behaviors, and attitudes to establish a positive and robust health and safety culture across the network. This is achieved through implementing the SCHN Health Safety and Wellbeing Plan 2024-2027, creating standardized, simplified, and accessible training, tools, and resources, and ongoing promotion through solid partnerships with leaders across the network.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
· Has Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of qualifications and work experience
· Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate strategic and operational plans
