  1. Experience in NSW Health procurement and contracts, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated experience in a procurement environment with an understanding of Oracle (or similar) financial system.
  3. Detailed understanding and application of the principles of responsible financial management in procurement with an understanding of procurement rules in line with NSW Procurement guidelines.
  4. Proven engagement, collaboration and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers, staff and stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical skills to create effective procurement spend, compliance and savings reports, as well as written reports.
  6. Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem solving.
  8. Efficient, effective planning and use of own time in the setting of priorities to achieve set objectives with the resources available and within set time frames. Demonstrated ability to initiate, prioritise, and complete required tasks to meet strict deadlines
