What you'll be doing
The Divisional Nurse Manager works in partnership with the Divisional Clinical Director, Divisional Operations Manager and Business Manager with a shared aim of developing and delivering effective, efficient, high quality health services, in line with the organisational objectives.
The Divisional Nurse Manager has primary responsibility for operational management of nurse led services and others as allocated, and at all times demonstrates a commitment to Royal North Shore Hospital vision and values.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA. Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health related field (eg clinical, health administration, management) or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Senior level experience in clinical governance, continuous improvement, quality initiatives and customer service principles and ability to lead and work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal with ability to write reports, conduct presentations. In addition computer skills are to be of a level to produce professional correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Well-developed problem solving, negotiation and analytical sills, including demonstrated financial management skills and an ability to effectively manage team and individual performance to ensure effective service delivery and delivery of outcomes.
