About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Child and Family Health Nurse to join the team at Casino Community Health. The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality person-centered nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD). 

The Child and Family Health Nursing service provides a Universal Health Home Visit (UHHV) for all families of newborn babies; monitors the growth, development and health status of the child (0 to 5 years) within the context of the family and promotes a holistic approach to care that focusses on the individual rights and needs of children and families.
