- Current registration (reg) with the N&M Board of Aust with at least 5 yrs full time equivalent post reg experience & post grad quals in the relevant field; or Bach Deg in Social Work or other equivalent quals providing eligibility for membership of AASW; or Bachelor of OT or equiv quals recognised for registration with the OT Board of Aust; or Current full reg with the Psych Board of Aust with a 4 yr degree in psych, being a 3 yr deg (including 4th yr hons in psych), or a qual deemed equivalent by the employer & have completed a min of 1 yr at the 9th yr of service; or Current full reg with the Psych Board of Aust with a Masters Deg or higher in Clinical Psych, Clinical Neuropsych or some other recognised clinical area in Psych that the employer deems relevant to the position. Postgrad quals must be of no less than 2 yrs full time duration (or part time equivalent) & include professional clinical coursework, clinical training & supervised placement experience as core components.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and abilities in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based approaches.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide clinical governance and team leadership, and experience in the provision of education to peers, clients and other service providers at individual and group levels.
- Proven excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated skills in developing, implementing and evaluating programs including clinical groups.
- Demonstrated skill in working collaboratively and systemically with many key stakeholders
- Highly competent computer skills utilising varied software programs and information systems with proven ability to utilise research / quality improvement strategies to effect changes in clinical practice
- Current drivers licence and ability to travel as required.
