Bellingen
Bellingen is famed for its cultural festivals, with inquisitive minds meeting in an environment rich with natural inspiration. The annual Readers and Writers Festival focuses exclusively on Australian writers; while the Bellingen Fine Music Festival is a four-day celebration of classical music from a range of eras and cultures. The monthly Bellingen Community Markets is also a popular event, focusing on community, diversity and local crafts and producer; while the weekly Bellingen Farmers and Produce Market showcases regional specialties and produce straight from the farm.
Bellinger River District Hospital is a 42-bed facility (D1 Community Acute with Surgery) providing a range of services including 24-hour Emergency medicine, General medicine, Rehabilitation and Palliative care services, and Day Surgery (Ophthalmology and Gastroenterology).
Bellinger River District Hospital has been servicing its community and surrounds since its opening in July 1903. The hospital is located on the outskirts of the Bellingen township overlooking the valley.
The hospital works closely with Coffs Harbour Health Campus as a part of the Coffs Clinical Network (CCN), in the Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD).
There are also a range of Community and Allied Health services based at the hospital, including Community Nursing and Outpatient services for Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Speech Pathology.

A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS
- Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability relevant to area within an outpatient and/or acute hospital setting.
- Proven clinical problem solving skills to maximise patient care
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate patient care in a multidisciplinary team environment providing outcome based care.
- Participate in a seven day rotating roster including public holidays and night duty.
