About the Role - Wardsperson
The Wardsperson plays a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of hospital services, particularly during night shifts. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with patient movement and transfers, supporting nursing and clinical staff, maintaining efficient patient flow, and carrying out cleaning and infection control duties in line with hospital standards.
This role is ideal for someone seeking stable and meaningful work within a healthcare environment. The fixed night shift roster offers consistency, while the 7 nights on / 7 nights off schedule provides an excellent work-life balance, allowing for regular and predictable time off to manage personal commitments.
Working hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Sunday, on a rotating roster of seven consecutive nights on followed by seven nights off. Wardspersons work largely independently, managing their own tasks and priorities, while also interacting with a variety of clinical and support teams across the hospital.
