Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Easily accessible to Sydney residents, our team of clinicians, allied health, and support staff works with the community on a shared goal to maintain the delivery of high-quality healthcare in the Blue Mountains region.
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team of Wardspersons working across both Blue Mountains Hospital in Katoomba and Springwood Hospital. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, compassion and delivering high‑quality support to patients, visitors and clinical teams.
As a Wardsperson, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the hospital by assisting with patient transport, supporting clinical departments, managing equipment movement, maintaining a safe environment and providing courteous assistance to staff and visitors. You will work closely with nursing, medical and allied health teams, contributing to smooth patient flow and ensuring that every person who walks through our doors is treated with dignity and respect. Flexibility is essential, as shift availability may be required across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

What you will bring to the Role?
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of customer service
- Ability to work Mornings, Evenings & Night duty shifts, across a 7 day week roster
- Able to demonstrate problem solving an prioritisation skills in a work environment
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the position as listed in the physical requirements in the position description
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to demonstrate a reasonable understanding of work health and safety
- Current driver's licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
