Manning Base Hospital
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Urologist to join the team in Taree and provide holistic, best practice Urological surgical care to both inpatients and outpatients. The role will cover both elective and on-call Urological work at Manning Base Hospital and Mayo Private Hospital.
About you
- You are a fully qualified FRACS (Urology) with specialist registration
- You possess extensive experience in Urological Surgery
- A background of commitment to education and training programs and initiating research will be highly regarded.
About Manning Base Hospital
Manning Base Hospital serves the local communities of Taree, Forster, Tuncurry and surrounding districts which operates 160 beds providing a broad range of specialist services. Our services include general medical and surgical wards, ophthalmology, urology, paediatrics, gynaecology and obstetrics, TOES, ECT, and emergency. There is also a renal dialysis unit, and other services such as orthopaedics, vascular surgery, intensive care/coronary care, peri operative, paediatrics, maternity, oncology and a new state of the art Emergency Department.Why Manning Hospital?

Stage 1 of the hospital’s $40 million redevelopment has already been delivered:
- A state-of-the-art renal dialysis unit, chemotherapy unit, and specialist consultation spaces.

- Modernised main entrance and patient car park.
Stage 2 backed by a $180 million investment, has commenced ages and promises even more! This includes a new inpatient building designed to meet the needs of our growing community.
Clinical Services planning is currently being undertaken for stage 3 that is anticipated to include redevelopment of Manning Hospitals specialty service facilities.
