Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer to join our Mental Health Services Team!

  

We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Psychiatry! The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in psychiatry and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Mental Health Service and Hospital as required.

  

The Visiting Medical Officer in Psychiatry (Concord Centre for Mental Health) will work as one of a number of staff specialist psychiatrists within an acute adult inpatient mental health service based at Concord Centre for Mental Health, providing direct care and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary mental health team.

  

The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

  

The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.

  

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
