Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse to join the SCHN virtualKIDS service. virtualKIDS is a dynamic, multidisciplinary service offering on site 24/7 specialty paediatric virtual care to children and young people, both locally and throughout NSW. The aim of our service is to ensure children and their families have access to the right health care, at the right time and in the comfort of their own home. We offer support for children and young people with acute conditions, as well as chronic and complex health care needs.
•    Recent Acute Paediatric experience with an up-to-date skill set is essential.
•    Good clinical IT skills are essential.
•    Experience in Virtual care platforms is not essential, training will be provided.

This role currently requires the candidates to work a rotational roster with day and afternoon shifts across seven days, with the capacity for introduction of night shifts in future. The team work onsite, currently at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, with the future potential to expand to an additional site at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
