Transition to Speciality Practice Programs - Registered Nurse
Are you interested in furthering your nursing career into a specialty field?
With seven specialty programs – Intensive Care, Emergency, Perioperative, Rehabilitation, Nephrology, Cardiology, and Acute Medicine – you’ll receive well-supported and comprehensive training experiences. We are currently seeking Registered Nurses with at least 12 months of experience to join our 2026 programs, commencing in February.
Remuneration: $36.39 - $51.09 Per Hour + Super + Salary Packaging

The Programs:
CARDIOLOGY PROGRAM
Participate in 6month rotations through coronary care unit and cardiac catheter laboratory. The program includes structured study days, two weeks of specialty practice days, and advanced life support assessment and competency.
EMERGENCY CARE PROGRAM
This well-supported program includes theoretical, practical, and self-directed learning. It is divided into modules such as orientation and physical assessment, paediatrics, fast track, special populations, and resuscitation and trauma. EDVOM and ALS workshops are also offered.
INTENSIVE CARE PROGRAM
This comprehensive program includes four face-to-face study days and two weeks of supported orientation. It combines classroom learning with hands-on experience, guiding you from novice to advanced beginner level 2. This program suits nurses passionate about delivering holistic, evidence-based care within a critical care environment. At the end of the program, you will be credentialled as an advanced life support provider.
PERIOPERATIVE PRACTICE PROGRAM
This program offers placements in Anaesthetics, PACU, and Intraoperative Nurse roles. It includes clinical skills training, and supernumerary clinical time. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of perioperative specialties.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
