What you'll be doing
This position will be responsible for providing training advice and assistance to various departments across the Network and also the Transactional Services Department. The position requires a commitment to teamwork and co-operation through a flexible and hands-on approach to work, the respect of co-workers and a willingness to assist and meet team deadlines.
The Training Support Officer reports to the Training and Quality Assurance Manager and assists the Transactional Services Team in ensuring excellence in service delivery by supporting the day to day operations related to the billing process. The billing, receipting and debt recovery operations are managed by the Transactional Services Department for hospital services associated with patient care and related hospital functions.
The Training Support Officer will work closely with the Patient Billing, Receipting and Debt Recovery transactional teams to ensure the generation and collection of revenue is performed in a timely and efficient manner.
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, together with the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, forms the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN).
