About the opportunity
Are you passionate about systems training within the healthcare setting? We are currently undertaking our largest digital health transformation initiative to date, which will improve the way we provide patient care, as well as how we provide forensic and analytical science services to help solve crimes.
We are seeking dynamic and motivated Training Officers with a pathology or healthcare industry background to join our team of training professionals! In this pivotal Temporary Full-Time role, you’ll work closely with the Fusion Program Team and frontline staff to deliver high-quality training that supports system adoption and service improvement across our dynamic health network.

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the role will be to ensure that staff have access to high quality training and adoption support. The role will also contribute to the design and development of training materials and provide online and face to face training and adoption support to staff and clients (e.g. General Practitioners – e-Reporting) who are required to use newly implemented systems.

- Demonstrated experience delivering skills-based and/or software application training in an operational environment as well as a record of achievement in delivery of adult learning in a large and complex service environment.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the development of learning materials.
- Highly developed communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to make practical recommendations to increase engagement and adoption.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project team environment to meet objectives to tight deadlines.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Teams, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Current Unencumbered Class C Driver's License with the capacity and willingness to travel to NSW Health Pathology service locations to deliver training and support.
- Experience working in an operational role within the pathology or health context relevant to the role.
