About the Role
As a Wardsperson, you will play a vital role in supporting clinical teams and enhancing the patient experience.
- Transporting patients safely between ward and theatre
- Assisting with patient handling, positioning, and transfers using appropriate equipment
- Providing courteous, respectful support to patients, families, and visitors
- Maintaining equipment, including cleaning, restocking, and spot cleaning
- Transporting clinical items such as specimens, medical gases, and equipment
- Supporting after-hours services including mortuary processes and family viewing arrangements
- Contributing to a safe and responsive environment, including emergency response
You will work within a multidisciplinary team and may rotate across multiple sites including JHH, JHCH, and RPC, depending on operational needs.

You must be willing and able to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including day and night shifts, and meet the physical demands of the role.
