Team Manager, Community Mental Health


In this leadership role, you will manage and support a skilled team across CAMHS, Youth, Adult, Older Persons, Peer, Aboriginal, and Drug & Alcohol specialties. You will guide the delivery of high-quality, recovery-oriented, person-centred care while ensuring strong alignment with district priorities and service models.

Working closely with clinical leaders, you will oversee service coordination, staff development, performance management, and resource allocation. You will also drive quality improvement, support safety initiatives, manage financial and operational KPIs, and foster collaboration with community partners and inpatient services to ensure seamless consumer care.

Remuneration: $132,236.00 – $150,222.00 per annum (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable)

About You

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in nursing, psychology, social work, occupational therapy or a related discipline, with current AHPRA registration or eligibility for relevant professional membership.

  2. Strong clinical experience in mental health and drug & alcohol services.

  3. Demonstrated leadership capability, including staff management, overseeing clinical practice standards and driving service improvement.

  4. Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  5. A commitment to person-centred care, recovery principles, and working collaboratively with consumers, carers, families and partners.

  6. A valid NSW Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and Class C driver’s licence.
