Systems Control Technician

About the role
The position of Systems Control Technician is responsible for maintaining and developing electrical and other control systems across Parkes Health Service and surrounding hospitals, helping create a safe and comfortable environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Along with providing technical support and current, practical advice to Facility Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, the District Engineer and the Building Technology Manager, the role is responsible for scheduling and completing all preventative maintenance, repairs, adjustments, modifications and additions to the relevant control systems.

The role also requires effective liaison with external departments to coordinate operational requirements, along with regular communication with inter‑departmental managers and staff on all matters relating to control systems.
