About the opportunity
Are you organised, reliable, and ready to make a real impact behind the scenes in healthcare? HealthShare NSW is looking for a proactive Storeperson to join our Patient Support Services team and help ensure our hospitals and health facilities are stocked and running efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
As a Storeperson, you’ll play a key role in managing the end-to-end supply chain process. From ordering and receiving goods to delivering supplies and maintaining storerooms, your work will directly support patient care and hospital operations.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Issuing and delivering stock to wards and departments
- Receiving, checking, and relocating goods using our Oracle system
- Replenishing stock levels and maintaining storeroom organisation
- Applying FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to reduce waste
- Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
- Keeping storerooms clean, safe, and well-maintained
We’re after someone who is:
- Detail-oriented and organised
- Holds a valid forklift licence
- Comfortable using computer systems for stock management
- A team player with great communication skills
- Physically capable of handling stock and deliveries
