What you'll be doing
Primary Purpose of The Kids Neuroscience Centre
Since its inception, research undertaken at the Kids Neuroscience Centre has positively impacted more than 4000 families with rare neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
The Centre operates a research-based diagnostic service providing these families with precise genetic diagnoses, expert clinical care and disease-specific treatments and therapies. A clinical trials unit enables children to participate in international clinical research and access the latest treatment options. In their quest to diagnose and treat children with previously untreatable neuromuscular and neurological disorders, the integrated research teams within the Kids Neuroscience Centre continuously push boundaries and are successfully and dramatically changing lives.
The Centre is based within the Division of Research of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network, Westmead Campus, NSW, Australia, but has an all-age research remit and is affiliated with the Discipline of Child and Adolescent Health, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Clinical School of the University of Sydney.
The primary purpose of the Staff Administration Manager is to facilitate the efficient running of the Centre for all 12 research teams and ~110 staff and students, with specific responsibility for Human Resources under supervision/guidance of the Business Manager.
