REQ680446 - St George Hospital - Aboriginal Wardsperson Trainee - Permanent Full Time

The Role

Provide day to day assistance to the nursing staff throughout the hospital, and provide transport/transfer of patients across the campus, and achieve these objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

      Selection Criteria

 

  1. This is a position identified for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people on the basis of a genuine occupational qualification under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977. Applicants will be required to provide confirmation of Aboriginality as part of the recruitment process.
  2. Willingness to complete Certificate III in Health Service Assistance to meet ongoing employment.
  3. Effective communication skills.
  4. Ability to function effectively as a member of a team.
  5. Good time management and organisational skills.
  6. Effective problem solving skills.
