With a recent major redevelopment, Campbelltown Hospital offers a modern, well-equipped environment where sonography plays a vital role in patient care. This dual role provides a unique opportunity to work across ultrasound and x-ray, including a dedicated Emergency Department service, using industry-leading equipment from Canon, Siemens, and Shimadzu. We’re seeking a dedicated professional with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest imaging and patient safety standards. You will bring a patient-centred approach, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and respect, alongside strong clinical integrity and accountability. With proven competence in diagnostic imaging and/or ultrasound, you will be confident in image optimisation, quality assurance, and the use of RIS/PACS systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise workload effectively, and are committed to continuous learning and quality improvement, this role offers the perfect platform to advance your career while delivering exceptional patient care.


Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiation Science, Current registration with the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR),Current AHPRA registration, Holds a recognised post graduate diploma in Medical Sonography and Current NSW EPA license
  • Describe your experience as a Radiographer and/or Sonographer, including the types of examinations you routinely perform. How do you ensure high quality imaging outcomes and adherence to clinical protocols?
  • Provide an example of how you deliver compassionate, patient centred care, particularly when managing anxious, unwell, or complex patients.
  • Discuss your approach to ongoing learning and professional development. Include examples of CPD, upskilling, or involvement in quality improvement initiatives.
  • This role requires flexibility in working arrangements (e.g. rostered shifts, weekends, on call). Please outline your availability and any flexibility you can offer.
