What you'll be doing
Provide a high quality radiographic and ultrasound service to patients within the Mid North Coast Local Health District and to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.
About You
You hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in sonography, reflecting your commitment to advanced clinical practice and ongoing professional development.
You maintain all required professional registrations, including a current AHPRA Medical Radiation Practice Board registration, a NSW EPA Radiation Licence, and ASAR accreditation, ensuring your practice meets the highest regulatory and ethical standards.
With recent postgraduate experience in Diagnostic Medical Imaging, you bring strong capability across both Sonography and Radiography, demonstrating versatility and depth in clinical practice. You possess a high level of knowledge and proficiency in complex ultrasound procedures, enabling you to deliver high‑quality diagnostic outcomes in a range of clinical settings.
You are able to independently perform the full spectrum of Medical Imaging procedures and interventional examinations, consistently meeting departmental requirements and contributing to efficient, patient‑centred service delivery. Your practice is underpinned by excellent clinical reasoning skills, allowing you to make sound, evidence‑based decisions that reflect advanced practical expertise.
You demonstrate a strong understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and apply these principles diligently within the Medical Imaging environment to ensure safe, compliant, and high‑quality care.
Your communication skills—both written and verbal—are exceptional. You liaise confidently and professionally with hospital staff, private referrers, patients, and carers, ensuring clear, compassionate, and effective interactions that support positive clinical experiences and outcomes.
